ASTEC CDH-2A-this machine provides fast and accurate machined holes in any material that conducts electricity (aluminum, carbide, steel, stainless steel, ceramics, ferro-tic, copper and brass. It is ideal for making "start holes" for wire EDM, vent holes and production holes in hardened materials where conventional drills are inadequate. It can also be used for a tap remover. The Astec is capable of burning hole sizes from .010" to .118" diameter and burns a maximum length of eight inches.
